Creating short links is useful when using micro-blogs such as Twitter, or linking on social media sites like Facebook. The converted link is short, concise and easily shared.

Our short URL generator will convert your full URL into a short link perminantly, shorter than the most popular short url sites, i.e. bit.ly and tinyurl.com, meaning you have more characters available for your micro-blog content.

The free service converts links into just 4 letters or numbers after the trailing forward slash, "/". e.g. http://sed.cx/abc1

We will soon be offering a premium subscription service for companies and bloggers to allow 3 and even 2 letters or numbers for ultra short URLs. e.g. http://sed.cx/ab, http://sed.cx/abc

An API is being developed for developers to utilise our short URL service automatically in their applications. This will be offered as both a free service and as a premium service without limitation.
